Head of Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Take ownership of platform engineering and infra strategy.
• Set roadmap on reliability, security, automation, and DX.
• Assess infra to improve consistency, visibility, and maturity.
• Define standards for cloud infra, deployments, observability, and security.
• Own cloud infra, CI/CD, IaC, deployment workflows, prod environments.
• Build self-service platform capabilities to boost productivity.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in Platform Eng, DevOps, SRE, or related field.
• 2+ years leading a Platform/Infra/DevOps/SRE function with direction.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring platform/infrastructure teams.
• Strong AWS experience: architecture, networking, reliability, security.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and Docker in production.
• Strong CI/CD design with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar.
