📋 Description

• Lead the insurer’s technical view across the full model landscape: the actuarial risk models, the
• Bring an actuarial view to all modelling approaches including AI driven models.
• Go deeper on the actuarial risk models that set our net rates: join each project, independently
• Review, validate and challenge pricing and underwriting proposals across personal and commercial
• Contribute to portfolio management and portfolio insight.
• Support the insurer’s position with our co-insurance partners on the net rates, the quality of the

🎯 Requirements

• A qualified actuary, or an equivalent track record inside an actuarial pricing team, with at least
• Deep experience of classic actuarial risk modelling: GLMs built in Emblem, Akur8 or equivalent
• Real exposure to the newer modelling approaches alongside the classic ones, such as GBMs and other
• Experience with UK motor pricing.
• Experience with newly launched portfolios, or portfolios with limited history.
• Experience with telematics products and their pricing.
