• Overall responsibility for Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities across the business.
\n
• Create and implement best-practice purchasing vision, strategy, policies, and processes.
\n
• Ensure purchasing strategies meet price, quality and delivery targets.
\n
• Manage relationships and negotiate with key suppliers at a senior and strategic level.
\n
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in buyer-supplier power.
\n
• Prepare the annual Purchasing budget and forecasts; manage the budget from identification to completion.
\n

🎯 Requirements

\n
• 8-10 years of technical and non-technical procurement experience.
\n
• Degree level; Masters preferred in commercial or engineering.
\n
• CIPS fellowship or membership preferred.
\n
• Proven contract management and supplier experience.
\n
• Automotive supply chain knowledge.
\n
• Strong Excel skills.
\n
