📋 Description

• Own technical revenue accounting; issue clear memos for complex revenue positions.
• Own the deal desk from accounting; define guardrails; approve deals with Sales/Legal.
• Influence deal structures before signing; build credibility with Sales and Legal.
• Lead revenue-related disclosures and public-company readiness.
• Lead revenue system enhancements; roadmap, design, testing, cutover, optimization.
• Influence automation roadmap; translate accounting needs to system priorities with Eng.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record leading a high-performing accounting team.
• Deep ASC 606 expertise for software/subscription/usage models.
• Own complex technical accounting research; memos and US GAAP disclosures.
• Experience designing/operating internal controls over FR; documentation.
• Influence non-accounting stakeholders; shape deal structures with Sales/Legal.
• Experience owning a revenue/billing platform (Zuora or equivalent).
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
