Head of Risk and Compilance

📋 Description

• Own the company-wide risk register and drive risk resolution.
• Develop and lead annual risk assessments with owners and deadlines.
• Own IT security risk; manage vulnerabilities, access controls, and infra risks.
• Lead incident response end-to-end from detection to lessons learned.
• Design and maintain governance across 8 EU jurisdictions.
• Lead ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and future certifications.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in risk, compliance, or information security with at least 3 in leadership.
• Direct ownership of ISO 27001 and GDPR across multiple jurisdictions.
• Track record of building or maturing a compliance function.
• Experience working in tech, consulting, or professional services.
• Demonstrated ability to engage C-suite and clients on risk topics with clarity.
• Nice to have: AI governance frameworks or EU AI regulation exposure.
