Head of Security & Compliance

📋 Description

• Own endpoint, identity, and network security for ~300-person org.
• Manage security tooling (SIEM, EDR, IAM) and vendor relations.
• Lead employee security awareness and phishing simulations.
• Identify real-time security risks and implement mitigations.
• Own incident response planning, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Partner with engineering to embed security into product and cloud SDLC.

🎯 Requirements

• 10-12 years in security with 3-5 years leading a team.
• Deep cloud security architecture knowledge; AI security risk familiarity.
• Fluent in compliance frameworks, esp SOC 2 Type II; able to lead a compliance direct report.
• Experience presenting security posture to a board or exec team.
• Track record partnering with engineering and GTM teams.
• Experience at a B2B infrastructure or database company preferred.
