Head of Threat Research

📋 Description

• Lead team responsible for publishing research from Netcraft’s data sets
• Own publication pipeline for whitepapers, reports and briefings
• Represent Netcraft at conferences, webinars, and media engagements
• Publish research grounded in threat intelligence spanning phishing, malware, and brand impersonation
• Conduct hands-on research and mentor threat analysts
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other teams to turn findings into actionable detection

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive threat intelligence experience with leadership or team management
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to improve research quality and clarity
• Experience presenting original research to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to translate research into detection, disruption, and takedown outcomes
• Public speaking and media engagement experience
• Knowledge of phishing, malware, online fraud, social engineering, and TTPs
