Health & Safety Specialist

📋 Description

• Maintain OSHA 300/300A/301 injury and illness logs and post annual summaries for assigned sites.
• Track incidents, near misses, and workers' compensation trends, and turn the data into monthly EHS
• Manage the EHS reporting tracker and calendar so permits, inspections, and regulatory submissions
• Act as a visible safety resource at offices, warehouses, and distribution centers; conduct routine
• Follow corrective actions through to closure; support incident investigations and root-cause
• Support programs such as Hazard Communication, fire safety, PPE, and emergency response.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Health & Safety
• 0 - 3 years of related experience in health & safety or EHS, ideally in an office, distribution
• Working knowledge of OSHA general industry standards and EPA hazardous waste (RCRA) requirements.
• Proven experience in maintaining records and adhering to deadlines while paying close attention to
• Clear written and verbal communication, comfort training and coaching employees at all levels.
• Comfortable using Microsoft tools.
