Hearing Representative, Settlements and OSA Workers' Compensation (Hybrid)

📋 Description

• Prepare and appear virtually at settlement hearings, status conferences, and OSA hearings.
• Update case files before and after hearings; reflect outcomes and next steps.
• Reach out to clients before and after hearings; send required communications on schedule.
• Resolve OSAs from start to finish; compile file, cure defects, draft letters.
• Coordinate with attorneys and settlement staff; escalate approvals as needed.
• Meet weekly targets for hearing prep, OSA queue, and client updates.

🎯 Requirements

• Hearing experience in California workers’ compensation; WCAB hearings.
• Solid knowledge of WC practice and WCAB procedure, incl OSAs, C&R/OACR, and EAMS.
• Highly organized; manage dozens of matters without dropping details.
• Strong multitasker; works under deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Self-motivated; comfortable being held to weekly performance metrics.
• Clear, professional communicator with clients, judges, and internal staff.
