High School Intervention Specialist

📋 Description

• Implement IEPs
• Design and execute instructional strategies aligned with Ohio standards
• Provide direct intervention for students with disabilities
• Differentiate instruction and modify curriculum
• Co-plan and co-teach with general education teachers
• Liaise between students, teachers, families, and service providers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college
• Current Ohio SPED Intervention Specialist license or willingness to pursue certification (Traditional/Alternative/Supplemental)
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Experience with ETR meetings and writing ETR Part 1
• Experience writing IEPs, progress monitoring, data collection
• Experience using SameGoal to create SPED documents
