High School Intervention Specialist - Resource Room

📋 Description

• Implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Design and execute instruction aligned with Ohio Learning Standards for special education
• Provide direct intervention for students with disabilities in the special education setting
• Differentiate instruction and modify curriculum for unique learning needs
• Use evidence-based instructional strategies to support academic growth
• Liaise between students, teachers, families, and related service providers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Current Ohio Special Education license or willingness to pursue certification by start date
• Certification pathways: Traditional, Alternative, Supplemental
• Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to demonstrate Math or English content knowledge
• Experience with Ohio Extended Learning Standards and MTSS/IEP processes
