High School Intervention Specialist- Specialized Learning Classroom (cross-categorical)

📋 Description

• Implement IEPs for students with low-incidence disabilities
• Adapt and modify curriculum for diverse disabilities
• Provide small-group or one-on-one instruction
• Use Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strategies
• Participate in IEP and MTSS meetings
• Maintain documentation and progress reports for IEPs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college
• Current Ohio Special Education license or willingness to pursue certification via 3 pathways
• Experience writing IEPs, progress monitoring, and data collection
• Experience using Ohio’s Extended Learning Standards
• Experience collaborating with paraprofessionals and ETR meetings
• Experience using SameGoal to create special education documents
