High School Intervention Specialist- Specialized Learning Classroom (cross-categorical)

📋 Description

• Implement IEPs for students with low-incidence disabilities
• Adapt and modify curriculum for diverse disabilities
• Provide small-group or one-on-one instruction
• Differentiate instruction to meet students' learning needs
• Use Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strategies
• Assist students toward independence and life skills

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Current Ohio Special Education Intervention Specialist License or willingness to pursue using one
• Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to demonstrate content knowledge in core subjects
• Experience with Ohio’s Extended Learning Standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
