Histotechnician I

📋 Description

• Perform histological preparations for Signatera Whole Exome/Genome Sequencing with minimal errors
• Prepare tissues, stained slides, and perform macrodissection and supporting workflow tasks
• Independently perform testing, reagent, and equipment preparation after training
• Participate in validations and reagent qualifications
• Monitor and manage cases to meet turnaround time goals and investigate sample processing issues
• Participate in EH&S safety initiatives and audits

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher in a histotechnician program OR Associate's degree or higher in
• HT (ASCP) certification required
• 0-2 years of experience
• Pass post-offer criminal background check
• Complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, compliance, and security training within 30 days of hire
• Proficiency with Google Suites and Microsoft Office
