HVAC Apprentice

📋 Description

• Assist licensed technicians with preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment (rooftop units, split systems).
• Perform basic maintenance: filter changes, coil cleaning, belts, and lubrication.
• Help diagnose and troubleshoot routine service issues under direct supervision.
• Learn to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Support technicians during service calls, start-ups, and inspections.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, parts used, and observations for the lead technician.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work toward EPA 608 Certification
• Basic mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
• Comfortable working in mechanical rooms, on rooftops, and in confined spaces
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license in good standing
