HVAC Apprentice

📋 Description

• Assist licensed technicians with preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment incl rooftop units.
• Perform basic maintenance: filter changes, coil cleaning, belt inspection, lubrication.
• Help diagnose and troubleshoot routine service issues under supervision.
• Learn to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Support technicians during service calls, startups, and equipment inspections.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and parts used.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work toward EPA 608 Certification
• Basic mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
• Comfortable working in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license in good standing
