HVAC Service Apprentice

📋 Description

• Assist licensed techs with preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment (rooftop units, chillers)
• Perform basic maintenance: filter changes, coil cleaning, belts, lubrication
• Diagnose routine service issues under direct supervision
• Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals
• Support technicians during service calls, start-ups, inspections
• Maintain records of maintenance performed and parts used

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to pursue EPA 608 Certification
• Basic mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
• Comfortable working in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather
• Valid driver's license in good standing
