IC4 - Sr Infra Engineer - DBA

📋 Description

• Automate database provisioning, patching, backups, and deployments.
• Design monitoring, analyze execution plans, and optimize queries.
• Oversee replication and sharding for scalable DB clusters.
• Lead incident response for major database bottlenecks and outages.
• Design, test, and maintain high-availability, failover, and backup/restore policies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on data modeling and new DB technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in Database Administration or Data Infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of DB concepts, normalization, indexing, distributed systems.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB and NoSQL.
• Cloud-native DB services: AWS RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, GCP Cloud SQL.
• Infrastructure-as-code and scripting for automation.
