Immediate ESL Teacher (High School)

📋 Description

• Design and deliver effective, differentiated instruction to multilingual learners
• Develop and implement individualized ILP plans
• Assess and monitor student progress in English language acquisition and academic content
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate language development
• Advocate for academic and social-emotional needs of multilingual learners
• Build strong relationships with students and families

🎯 Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license with English Learner (EL) certification or eligibility (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in education, TESOL, or related field (required)
• Minimum 2 years experience teaching multilingual learners (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of language acquisition theories and instructional strategies (required)
• Experience developing and implementing ILPs (preferred)
• Commitment to KIPP Indy mission and Indianapolis community (required)
