• Design, develop, and implement rigorous AP English lesson plans that align with state standards and
• Utilize strong pedagogical knowledge to effectively teach rhetorical analysis, argumentation, and
• Regularly assess and track student performance, leveraging data to adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain a positive and focused learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
• Build strong relationships with students and their families, supporting both academic success and
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan instruction and contribute to the AP curriculum.

🎯 Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license or in the process of applying for reciprocity with a valid
• Bachelor's degree in English or related field (required).
• Experience teaching AP English courses (preferred).
• Proven success helping students succeed academically, especially in underserved communities
• Strong knowledge of AP English curriculum and College Board standards (preferred).
• Commitment to the KIPP mission and community (required).
