📋 Description

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of student learning and effective teaching strategies for
• Design and deliver effective, differentiated instruction to multilingual learners that aligns with
• Develop and implement individualized ILP plans, ensuring compliance with state and federal
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress in both English language acquisition and academic
• Provide appropriate scaffolding, accommodations, and modifications to ensure access to grade-level
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate language development into content instruction

🎯 Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license with an English Learner (EL) certification or eligibility (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in education, TESOL, or a related field (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching multilingual learners (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of language acquisition theories and instructional strategies for English learners
• Experience in developing and implementing ILPs (preferred).
• Commitment to the KIPP Indy mission and the Indianapolis community (required).
