Immigration Attorney (Post-Conviction Relief)

📋 Description

• Advise client on their legal rights in matters and draw up legal documents about their case
• Responsible for post conviction relief cases, including motions to vacate, expungements, motions to
• Experience with immigration law is highly desirable, but not required, as this position would have
• Attend motion hearings on behalf of clients and advise clients following each hearing about best
• Handle open criminal cases including arraignments, pre-trials, pleas and sentencing on behalf of
• Manage court appearances, drafting motions, interviewing clients and performing legal research

🎯 Requirements

• Criminal Defense Experience or Immigration Law Experience
• Experience handling criminal cases at the state and local level
• A team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and working with your fellow associates
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required
• Interpersonal skills of the highest caliber
