Immigration Attorney - USCIS

📋 Description

• Develop strategy and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony
• Represent non-detained and detained clients in removal proceedings (Immigration Court/BIAs)
• Manage workload of cases
• Visit and conduct intake with detained individuals at centers
• Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family petitions
• Review immigration applications/packets and adjust as needed
• Present to and collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community groups on immigration law changes
• Meet with potential clients for strategic consultations and determine strategy
• Provide legal analysis to determine possible case benefits
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for immigration cases

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of Immigration Law experience
• Team player who helps, strategizes, and collaborates
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
• Interpersonal skills of the highest caliber
• Proven ability to move cases forward and manage a caseload
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and USCIS applications
• Experience with Case Management Software preferred
