In-Community Supports - Mental Health Specialist II

📋 Description

• Provide hands-on and/or verbal assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily activities including personal care, meals, transport, and chores.
• Maintain a clean, safe space supporting personal goals.
• Provide supervision, reinforcement, and guidance to help individuals reach goals.
• Build relationships with persons served and teammates.

🎯 Requirements

• 18+ to work in residential adult programs; 21+ for child foster care homes.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with challenging behaviors.
• Prefer experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Experience with Mental Health/Illness is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; proof required.
• Computer skills for documentation and basic tech use.
