In-Community Supports - Mental Health Specialist II

📋 Description

• Provide hands-on and verbal assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure safety, comfort, and personal growth of individuals served.
• Assist with daily activities: personal care, meals, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Maintain a clean, safe space to support personal goals.
• Build relationships with individuals and teammates; participate in community activities.
• Work on tailored outcomes with behavioral guidance plans as needed; weekends/holidays may be required.

🎯 Requirements

• 18+ to work in residential adult programs; 21+ for child foster care.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with challenging behaviors and/or property destruction.
• Prefer experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities; mental health experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; proof of DL.
• Current auto liability insurance.
• Computer skills for documentation; ability to perform personal cares; good communication.
