In-House Employment Attorney

📋 Description

• Develop strategy and manage litigation from inception to conclusion.
• Manage outside counsel in litigation and advise on liability protection.
• Represent the firm before federal, state, and local authorities.
• Advise on labor and employment matters (wage/hour, HR, leave, etc.).
• Provide guidance to management and HR on employment practices.
• Counsel on legislation and trends; provide training on key employment issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-10 years in labor and employment incl. litigation; in-house/defense preferred.
• JD from accredited law school; CA bar in good standing.
• Experience before federal/state courts and administrative agencies.
• Excellent writing and research skills.
• Knowledge of Labor & Employment law; comp: $175k-$225k.
• Knowledge of CA CPC and CA Rules of Court; federal law a plus.
