In-House Employment Attorney

📋 Description

• Develop strategy and manage litigation from inception to conclusion.
• Strategically manage outside counsel and advise management on legal matters.
• Represent and defend the firm before federal, state, and local authorities.
• Advise on labor and employment matters including wage and hour, leave, investigations.
• Provide training on key employment law issues.
• Lead education and policy efforts on employment best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10 years of substantive labor and employment experience.
• JD from accredited law school; CA bar in good standing.
• Experience in labor and employment matters before federal/state courts and agencies.
• Superb legal writing and research skills.
• Knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure and CA Rules; federal law a plus.
• Compensation between $175,000 and $225,000 per year.
