In-House Legal Counsel

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs)
• Support enterprise customer negotiations and contracting strategy with Sales, Ops, Product, and Eng
• Advise on leasing, hosting, purchasing, and related vendor contracts
• Manage corporate matters: entity management, governance docs, policies, and contract playbooks
• Mitigate legal risks across operations, people, contractors, cloud services, and tech delivery
• Contribute to scalable legal processes, templates, workflows, and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 2–3 years of relevant legal experience (law firm and/or in-house)
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate legal concepts for nonlegal teams
• Strong organizational skills; manage multiple deadlines
• Onsite availability in Redwood City, CA or Plano, TX; interest in growing into Senior Counsel role
