Independent Living Specialist

📋 Description

• Provide in-home and in-community support to promote independence.
• Must be a valid driver; use personal vehicle for shifts; mileage reimbursement offered.
• This is not a residential group-home setting.
• Full-time caseload; 9am-7pm; schedules may change.
• Assist individuals with daily activities: personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Provide skill development in community participation, health, safety and wellness, household management, and adaptive skills.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18 or 21+ depending on person-served.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, auto liability insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport person-served.
• High school diploma or GED; Associates in relevant field OR two years related experience.
• Willing to drive within a 30-mile radius.
• Adept in the use of technology and possess a smart device with adequate data.
• Flexible and a team player with good communication and documentation skills.
