Independent Living Specialist

📋 Description

• Provide in-home and in-community support to build independence and life skills.
• Work 1:1 with individuals in home and community settings.
• Use own vehicle to transport person-served; mileage reimbursed.
• Assist with daily activities: personal care, meals, transport, housekeeping, laundry.
• Maintain a clean, safe space and help individuals reach goals.
• Attend team meetings and document progress with the support team.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18+ or 21+ depending on the person-served.
• Valid driver's license, auto liability insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree or 2 years' experience in developmental disability or mental illness.
• Willing to drive within a 30-mile radius.
• Adept with technology; own a smart device with data.
