Independent Living Specialist

📋 Description

• Provide 1:1 in-home/in-community support to boost independence.
• Must be a valid driver with a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement.
• Full-time schedule, 9am–7pm; in-home and in-community visits.
• Assist with daily activities: personal care, meals, transport, housekeeping.
• Develop skills: community participation, health, safety, wellness.
• Attend team meetings; document progress; support plan adherence.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18+ (21+ depending on client).
• Education/2 yrs exp with developmental disability or mental illness.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED; associates in relevant field or 2 yrs related exp.
• Willing to drive within 30 miles; tech-savvy with smart device.
• Flexible, team player with strong communication and documentation.
