Indirect Tax Advisory Consultant

📋 Description

• Be an indirect tax subject matter expert (global VAT/GST) and resource to our business and finance
• Support Stripe's expansion internationally
• Participate in policy matters affecting indirect taxes internationally
• Collaborate with the international indirect tax compliance leads and the international accounting
• Support management of indirect tax audits and other indirect tax matters involving tax authorities
• Work with other tax team members and product and engineering teams to help define requirements and

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant indirect tax knowledge, laws, and regulations
• Bachelor's degree and professional qualification in tax or law
• Previous in-house experience within a multinational business and either legal or accounting firm
• Experience with indirect taxes as they relate to the distribution of digital services and physical
• Accounting experience and proficiency with ERP systems and related data analytics skills
• Ability to clearly and concisely interface with all levels of management
