Industrial Security Specialist / Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO)

📋 Description

• Execute day-to-day Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) duties in support of our DoD Facility
• Administer the personnel security program — process clearance actions in DISS, conduct initial and
• Support Program Protection activities, including implementation of security requirements for secure
• Contribute to the Insider Threat Program, including monitoring, reporting, and supporting
• Deliver the security education and training program, including initial indoctrinations, annual
• Draft, maintain, and enforce Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs), Emergency Action Plans, and

🎯 Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI required.
• Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of direct industrial security experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of security-related experience supporting DoD and/or IC programs, with working knowledge
• Hands-on experience with DISS and NISS; familiarity with Central Office of Record processes and
• Demonstrated experience across the core industrial security functions (PHYSEC, PERSEC, OPSEC
• FSO certification (or ability to complete FSO curriculum within 90 days of hire).
