Information Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and automate security controls, detection, and tooling.
• Research and recommend new information security technologies and frameworks.
• Design, implement, and maintain security monitoring and remediation systems.
• Partner with engineering and product to integrate security into features and pipelines.
• Improve information security standards, processes, and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling of core systems, services, and vendors.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in information security engineering or related domains.
• Scripting/automation with Python, Bash, or Go; Kubernetes preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure) and datacenters.
• Experience with SIEM/log management, threat detection, EDR, SAST, or SOAR; CrowdStrike/Obsidian preferred.
• Knowledge of common internet security threats, attack vectors, and mitigations.
• Excellent communication to explain risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
