📋 Description

  • Design and maintain distributed systems powering core WorkOS
  • Write and optimize backend services in TypeScript
  • Evolve AWS and Infrastructure as Code to scale systems
  • Partner with product teams to ensure systems are reliable and scalable
  • Build internal tools and shared infrastructure for engineers
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident learning

🎯 Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience designing, building, and operating infrastructure or internal platform systems
  • Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes
  • Comfortable with autonomy and ownership
  • Nice to have: exposure to TypeScript or willingness to work in a TypeScript-based stack
