Infrastructure Engineer, Mechanical Tooling

📋 Description

• Building the foundations for mechanical engineers designing our surgical robots and implants.
• Owning SOLIDWORKS and PDM performance, reliability, upgrades, and new-hire setup.
• Administering PDM: users, permissions, workflows, Toolbox, and vault performance.
• Developing CAD CI for automated model and drawing validation and release.
• Integrating PDM with design-controls and manufacturing systems to automate BOMs, DMRs, and build
• Building secure on-prem infrastructure for 3D printers and machine shop tooling, including internal

🎯 Requirements

• Strong user focus.
• Experience administering SOLIDWORKS PDM or a similar PDM/PLM system.
• Experience with CAD automation using the SOLIDWORKS API: macros and add-ins.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, Rust, or Go.
• Experience tuning performance on workstations, file servers, and SQL databases.
• Systems administration experience on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
