Infrastructure Engineer (RDS)

📋 Description

• Build internal DBaaS offering on OpenStack VM clusters.
• Write Go/Python to automate database provisioning, pooling, failover.
• Design for high availability and disaster recovery across regions.
• Develop tooling to automate lifecycle of stateful databases.
• Improve developer experience for product engineers.
• Participate in on-call rotation to reduce toil.

🎯 Requirements

• Linux expertise (networking, file systems, kernel tuning) and distributed systems.
• Proficient in Go or Python for infrastructure automation.
• PostgreSQL or similar databases at scale.
• Problem solver with root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Collaborative: communicate infra concepts with Compute, Networking, and Storage teams.
