Infrastructure Engineer, TL

📋 Description

• Build API-based products from the ground up.
• Design low-latency, high-reliability APIs for leaderboards, models, arenas.
• Solve streaming problems with SSE and mid-stream fallback.
• Implement enterprise-grade infra: rate limiting, auth, auditing, SOC 2.
• Build deep observability: tracing, latency breakdowns, dashboards.
• Integrate with Arena data and benchmarks; collaborate with researchers.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years backend engineering, distributed systems, or infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Go and/or Rust; experience building high-throughput APIs.
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google APIs; streaming and token mgmt.
• Cloud skills: AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Postgres, Redis.
• Product-minded; focus on developer experience of APIs.
• Comfort with ambiguity; startup environment.
