Infrastructure Engineering Director

📋 Description

• Own foundational cloud and outpost infrastructure with reliability.
• Establish standards for provisioning, observability, DR, and cost governance.
• Lead and scale the infrastructure engineering team with focus on docs and reliability.
• Manage vendor relationships, cloud spend, and capacity planning.
• Partner with Platform Engineering and product teams to align on roadmaps.
• Lead incident response and disaster recovery testing across infra domains.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant leadership in platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure.
• Deep Kubernetes architecture, operations, and multi-cluster mgmt.
• Strong AWS and Outposts experience (VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, cost mgmt).
• Ability to define and drive platform strategy and standards across teams.
• Operational discipline: runbooks, change mgmt, incident response, post-mortems.
• DR/RTO/RPO design, testing, and resilience improvements.
