Insider Threat Analyst

📋 Description

• Monitor and analyze logs and alerts to identify insider threat incidents vs false positives.
• Triage and investigate indicators, escalating to the Senior Analyst as appropriate.
• Support configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of application triggers for detection.
• Document findings and maintain case records per established procedures.
• Correlate data across sources to build a complete picture of insider threat activity.
• Coordinate with SOC and stakeholders to support program objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Tier 5 security clearance.
• BS/BA degree or related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Approximately 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, security ops, investigations, or insider threat.
• Hands-on with insider threat, DLP, SIEM, or UEBA/UEAM tools.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze logs and dashboards to differentiate real incidents from false positives.
• Strong written communication and ability to work under senior analysts.
