Instructional Coach, Literacy (Anne Arundel) (Fixed - Term)

📋 Description

• Lead classroom observations and provide feedback to strengthen literacy.
• Conduct model lessons and co-teach with teachers.
• Support unit and lesson planning with grade-level teams.
• Lead lesson study cycles and facilitate PLCs for staff.
• Analyze student work and formative data to inform decisions.
• Design and deliver professional development, in person and remote.

🎯 Requirements

• Passion for literacy and knowledge of science of reading and writing.
• 5+ years of K–5 or 6–8 literacy teaching with demonstrable results.
• Experience leading instructional coaching engagements and PD for educators.
• Experience guiding teams through change management and data-informed practice.
• Strong oral and written communication; proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Able to travel locally up to 4 days per week to support educators.
