Instructional Coach, Literacy/Supplementals (LAUSD) (Fixed-Term)

📋 Description

• Plan for and lead region-wide and district-wide professional development for teachers and/or
• Conduct observations and provide feedback to teachers and leaders to strengthen implementation of
• Deliver model small-group instruction and co-teaching alongside classroom teachers
• Facilitate PLCs for leaders and/or teachers, including supplementary office hours and consultations
• Support instructional planning and data analysis
• Analyze student work and formative assessment data to inform instructional decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience teaching foundational skills (phonological/phonemic awareness, phonics and
• 2+ years of experience leading sustained coaching engagements and professional development for
• 5+ years of K-5 classroom literacy teaching experience with demonstrated positive outcomes
• Demonstrated experience in educational leadership
• Experience working on collaborative projects with leaders and teachers
• Experience analyzing data and using it to inform practice
