Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead I&C deliverables on multi-discipline projects, estimating engineering effort.
• Specify control systems (DCS, PLC) and instrumentation (flow, pressure, level, temp).
• Collaborate with process engineers to size and specify control valves.
• Develop loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, instrument lists, and installation details.
• Coordinate with piping team for proper installation and air distribution.
• Develop E-Stop safety circuits using safety relays and safety PLCs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• PE registration required or in process of obtaining.
• 10+ years' experience in pulp & paper process instrumentation preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel 10-15% to customer sites.
