Instrumentation and Controls Technician

📋 Description

• Install instrumentation, sensors, and associated hardware
• Perform low-voltage DC and AC wiring
• Commission and troubleshoot test equipment, instrumentation, and control systems
• Support the procurement and specification of electrical components and hardware
• Perform control panel wiring and modifications
• Support work involving HVDC power converters operating above 1,000 VDC

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working with instrumentation and controls in a plant, chemical process, manufacturing
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical drawings and schematics
• Experience with low-voltage AC and DC wiring
• Ability to update technical drawings and create as-built drawings
• Ability to fabricate and modify hardware based on concept drawings
• Working knowledge of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
