Insurance Segment Accounting Operations Senior Analyst

📋 Description

• Execute key expense accounting processes, including accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and management reporting, including
• Prepare relevant quarterly and annual financial reporting and disclosures across US GAAP and
• Support budgeting and forecasting as appropriate and analyze financial results, trends and business
• Maintain effective accounting procedures and SOX controls, support internal and external audits
• Partner across Finance and other key functions to resolve accounting and operational matters and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience within the insurance industry and/or public accounting
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles; exposure to insurance statutory
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and ability to
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities and collaborate
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
