Integration Architect

📋 Description

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration architecture for VA modernization.
• Develop integration strategies connecting legacy VistA/MUMPS with cloud-based apps.
• Architect APIs, middleware, messaging, and data-exchange across enterprise healthcare systems.
• Support interoperability using HL7, FHIR, and RESTful APIs.
• Design scalable integration frameworks for real-time and batch processing.
• Collaborate with infra, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and other teams to ensure seamless integration.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in enterprise integration engineering or architecture.
• Experience with large federal healthcare or modernization programs.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy in integration requirements.
• Hands-on with VistA or MUMPS-based interfaces; understands data origin and flow.
• Strong experience with API design, middleware, and enterprise integration frameworks.
