Interaction Designer

📋 Description

• Advise on content/features from market research; design system interaction paths.
• Create and apply evaluation processes to validate content, interactions, and visuals.
• Advise on human factors in initial and redesign phases of products.
• Apply human performance principles to interface designs.
• Develop and implement research methods and analysis plans to test products.
• Conduct contextual user interviews to understand user needs and mental models.

🎯 Requirements

• B.A./B.S. in HCI/Ergonomics/Design or Cognitive Psychology; 2–4 years exp.
• Automotive/Electronics/Mechanical knowledge or programming preferred.
• Understand human factors principles, techniques, and technologies.
• Proficient with Visio/OmniGraffle and Adobe CS5; knowledge of Java/JavaScript/HTML5/CSS.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present ideas to management.
• Analytical skills: define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
