📋 Description

• Design and build rich interactive story experiences with journalists.
• Create visual-first stories and multimedia features to elevate storytelling.
• Work at the center of a newsroom where design is part of the mission.
• Report to the graphics director; collaborate with visuals, video, and editors.
• Travel occasionally for meetings and trainings.

🎯 Requirements

• At least three years of relevant design experience.
• An understanding of good design principles for clarity and impact.
• Communicate visual ideas via sketches and prototypes with journalists and editors.
• Fluency in web development including HTML, CSS and Javascript.
• A solid knowledge of or background in journalism; prior reporting experience is a plus.
• A love for details and making things.
