Internship: Youth Hockey Development (Part-Time/Seasonal)

📋 Description

• Represent the Capitals at local community fairs, festivals, and events.
• Assist Caps Hockey School visits to PE classes; manage scheduling and reports.
• Serve as lead instructor for Street Caps Learn to Play clinics at outdoor rinks.
• Organize and implement on-ice and off-ice events; coach/admin support as needed.
• Maintain the Youth Hockey Database with participant data from events.
• Create analytics and social media metric reports for youth programs.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous ice hockey playing experience and skating proficiency.
• Ability to learn quickly and motivation to self-teach.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Organized, thorough, and detail oriented.
• Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed based on event schedule.
