Investment Accounting Senior Analyst

📋 Description

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual investment accounting close activities
• Prepare and review reconciliations between investment accounting systems, the general ledger
• Support accounting and reporting for a broad range of investments, including fixed income
• Perform period-over-period analytical reviews of investment balances, income and other financial
• Coordinate with Investment Operations, Portfolio Management, Reinsurance, Financial Reporting
• Assist with the accounting and reporting assessment of new investments, transaction structures and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment accounting, insurance accounting, public accounting
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP; experience with U.S. Statutory accounting is preferred.
• Familiarity with investment products such as fixed income securities, structured products, mortgage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve accounting
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
